This year, Game Summit and Ottawa Geek Market have teamed up to provide an expansive 50,000 square feet of games, game designer lab, board game pavilion, tournaments, miniatures arena, workshops, merchants, and 70 exhibitors. Those exhibitors include artists of gaming graphics, and fine artists who happen to have a geeky side. Yes, I’m one of the geeky artists. đŸ™‚ I’ll have a double-booth full of art, one of which will be “Man in a Gas Mask” (above) paper-tile mosaic. It is an homage to surrealist painter RenĂ© Magritte‘s Man in a Bowler Hat.
