My latest show is up! Yes, it’s at a Canadian Tire. One of Ottawa School of Art’s offsite galleries is located in the Exit Lobby of a Canadian Tire. An odd location for a gallery or the perfect place to introduce people — 1000 people per day!!! — to local art? I’ve already sold 2 at that location!

Hooked on recycling, I’ve made hand-rolled magazine-paper beads and incorporated them into one-of-a-kind bookmarks. Each design also features reclaimed beads from old jewelry (often vintage), as well as reclaimed wire. The re-used wire is from old staples! (Look closely in the “mops” or clusters of small beads for that staple wire.) The bookmarker itself is silver-plated (over stainless steel) and much of the rest of the wire used is silver-plated (over copper). No two are alike; you will be the only person in the world with your unique bookmark. Contact me to reserve your unique bookmark or custom-order a specific colour/magazine page! See the collection.
