Local News covered my very first workshop!
I’m honoured to have had the news of my “Up-Cycling in Art” workshop ‘covered’ by the local newspaper, Your Community Voice — Carleton Place & Almonte. The event was literally ‘covered’, as I was fortunate enough to have my photo on the Cover!
Staff Writer, Derek Dunn, contacted me after seeing my notice of the workshop on social media. Derek’s relaxed interviewing style made for a very pleasant experience, especially for this shy artist. 🙂 How lovely it is to have the local news interested in the Arts and Recycling!

Ongoing Group show in Perth, ON
I am thrilled to be part of an ongoing group show at Rocky River Cafe in Perth! I have 10 artworks there, and am among some very fine company, including John Shea Fine Art! If you haven’t been to this establishment, it truly is worth a visit. It was voted #1 restaurant in Perth on TripAdvisor, has an impressive seating capacity with large outdoor patio, daily specials, and a bar for pairing refreshing beverages with their tasty, homemade eats! The industrial touches and exposed brick walls create a super ambiance.

The Countryside — a natural location for a Studio
Many artists are inspired by nature. I’m no exception.
After noticing nightly activity under the wild apple trees around the house, I decided to set up a wildlife camera. Look at the adorable ‘catch’! Even if all the apples are disappearing, how could you say ‘no’ to that face?! What a cutie!
We have five white-tailed deer here, twice daily (early morning and early evening) to do the circuit from apple tree to apple tree. Between wind-fall, and the naturally-maturing process of apples, many of the fruit land on the ground, only to be scooped up by wildlife that need to pack on calories for the coming winter. Eat hearty, sweet ones.

More wild roses released to the wild!
“Rock ‘n’ Rose” is sold and on its way north-east of the Ottawa Valley! Some of you saw this pre-finished image, but didn’t get to see what it looked like with gloss, beads, and frame. To that end, here is a short video to show you. (Sorry, I was in a rush, so I’m speaking a little quickly.)

August 1-31, 2025 at Irene’s Pub in Ottawa!
I’m thrilled to have been invited back to Irene’s Pub in Ottawa. My show contains 26 pieces, plus a wall of greeting cards and dry-erase prints. This marks the third year with my mosaics at the pub. The team there is amazing! We are in talks about another display of my art but this time with a focus on my painting and intaglio prints. Can’t wait!
