Art For Your Offices

Why choose me and my art?

  • I am an established Canadian artist
  • I am at the ready with existing stock, and I can produce new pieces quickly
  • I take commissions to match your colour scheme or theme; it can be a completely new design or be modelled off an existing piece

My art…

  • sets you apart from other companies by providing a unique look to your space
  • is durable, and is easy to hang, keep clean, and store
  • will appreciate in value, comes with authentication, and is signed
  • is in corporate collections, including InGenius Software and Town of Sackville

I am extremely easy to work with, and am an ideal supplier to clients looking to add a splash of colour/focal piece to anywhere from the Board Room to the Powder Room. You can display it for free, buy it (or commission a special theme), or rent it. The details for each scenario is below.

I am professional, highly flexible with subject matter (from representational to abstract), very comfortable working in many dimensions (to date, I have worked on pieces from 8×8″ to 72×36″), and committed to my established 25-year art career. I have produced many commissions, and am happy to have direction/special requests from my clients.

Shows a large misty mountain theme artwork in paper-mosaic, in-situ on the wall behind a seating area or couch.

I can produce from my imagination, or you can give a description, colour palette, or photo that is special to you, to inspire me. Estimates are free, and I am excellent at working to budget so that there are no surprises.

My medium is Paper Mosaic. These are originals, and a unique style of low bas-relief (much like ceramic mosaic), that can’t be purchased at just any décor shop. My artworks are made up of tesserae (small shapes) of paper, combined to be light-weight wall art. They are professionally finished with a classic black 1.75″-depth frame, and sealed with a thick acrylic gloss, to create rich, dense colours for a lush surface presentation.

Three art scenarios for your wall space:

  1. Displays with art for sale;
  2. Purchased/special order to add to your permanent collection, or;
  3. Rentals.

For scenario #1, I hang a selection of various artworks with accompanying price tag and artist bio/contact information. I do not charge a CARFAC Public Display fee, and if you sell the art on my behalf, you take 20% commission. If you leave sales to me, all you have to do is the hand-off. I take care of communication with the buyer, and process payment.

For scenario #2, you purchase art outright. You can select a piece from my collection, or you can make a special order (estimates are free) to match a colour palette, theme, or size that is important to your company/space. I supply an official tax-deductible receipt, and do NOT charge HST (I do not fall in the category).

For scenario #3, the art rental service gives you an opportunity to have art on a rotating basis, or a chance to live with an artwork before committing to the final purchase. Rental prices start at $36 per artwork, and are calculated at 4% of the value of each artwork, per month. Rental periods are a minimum of three months at a time. For example, if an artwork has a value of $1000, the calculation is $1000 x 4% x 3 months = $120. There are no taxes on rentals, and I always supply a tax-deductible receipt. If you decide to purchase a piece that you are renting, I will take up to 3 months of rental fees off the purchase price.

I am in the Ottawa area, but have delivered/shipped as far away as Australia. Budgets (based on size and complexity of the image) range from $200-$9000. Estimates are gratis, so feel free to inquire about a project. It would be an absolute pleasure to create something special and unique for you. I look forward to hearing from you.

All my best,

Adirondack Fish paintingMy largest piece to date is called “Adirondack Fish” (above), and is 12 feet long. This piece is from a special collection outside my paper mosaics. It is acrylic on stretched canvas with found objects. It completely integrates (upcycles!) every piece of an old Adirondack chair — even the fish’s teeth are nails.
